At Szadurski Law, we believe that obtaining legal advice should be a worthwhile investment. Every matter is unique, and our goal is to provide practical, strategic guidance that helps clients make informed decisions from the very beginning.

Comprehensive Initial Consultations

Our initial meetings with clients are comprehensive legal consultations and are therefore subject to a consultation fee. The consultation fee is dependent on the complexity of the file and will be assessed at first contact. You will always be informed of the cost of the consultation before committing.

Our consultations are designed to provide meaningful legal advice, not simply to determine whether you have a case, and they can vary significantly from file to file. The costs involved after the consultation will be outlined during it.

Hourly rates

Time-based billing for matters where scope cannot be fixed in advance, such as active litigation or ongoing advisory work.

Phased or milestone-based billing

Fees structured around the stages of your matter, billed as each phase is reached.

Flat-fee services

A single agreed price for defined legal work, so you know the total cost at the outset.

Retainer arrangements

Ongoing arrangements tailored to the scope of the matter and the level of support required.

Sliding Scale Fees

In appropriate circumstances, we may offer services on a sliding scale. We understand that access to competent legal representation is important, and we will consider the individual circumstances of both the client and the legal matter when determining whether a modified fee arrangement is appropriate.
